    Gearbox position sensor switch

    DiscoDavo is without internet at the moment. His D2 is failing to proceed at the moment (won't start) and he believes it is the position sensor in the gearbox. They are pretty expensive, so he was hoping someone might have a spare that he could swap to confirm/exclude his thoughts before stumping up for a new one.

    G'day All. as stated, Through lengthy diagnostics, i believe my non-starting issue is the trans interlock/ gear position switch.(ZF 4 speed auto).
    If no-one has a spare to test, I can remove, test and replace one in about 20 minutes from your drive car and supply a beer to drink while you wait ; ))
    ~$400 is a too much money for me to spend on a hunch

    just unplug it and manually pin the cabling.
