The point, is, I think that it is rare to see wear on a "properly maintained" Rover R&P. Failures I have seen are ring gear tooth breakage and pinion bearing failure.
Ian, does that match with your (much larger) experience with seeing broken R&Ps?
Hi just an update on our new heavy duty ring and pinions, you can see the tooth profile difference on the 3.5 ratio against the 3.54, but also they are available in 'reverse' cut for the front differential for added strength.
Regards Ian Ashcroft
Very impressive! Why didn't you release these a couple of months ago when I was building my front diff/locker!!!![]()
