Any tips on removing a tyre from a Boost Alloy

I need to get a staked tyre off a Boost Alloy to save on transport space - No points of the tyre being there it's stuffed. I'm not going to be putting a new tyre on the rim myself just take the rim somewhere a long way away.
I know the Boost rims have a lip on the beed but do they have the wide step in them like the Disco2 Alloys?
I've got Tyreplyers and tyre irons and a big rubber mallet and some soapy stuff and I've changed tyres on steel rims before
So what can possibly go wrong???
I guess if all else fails I could cut it off. Just the tyre is very intact except for a 2" hole in one side. So I suspect cutting would be just as hard as removing.
I wonder who won't read the post fully and will tell me all about why I should not do this to fit a new tyre.
