    300 TDI Aircon Dramas

    Hi guys and girls,

well my disco aircon bearing has been a little noisy lately and the other day the belt snaped and in doing so it snaped off the clutch coil wires right at the base and put a hole in a new bottom radiator hose that i had put on about 3 months ago

any way that is not the major drama. My main stuff up is when i decided to get the gear puller out and pull of the pully from the air con.
i took off the circlip and sprayed WD 40 around and let it soak in but when i pulled the pully of the aircon housing cracked where the circlip recess is.

Now im at a loss on what to do?

can i somehow glue tis back on?

if i replace the front housing will this mean i will have to re gass the unit?

or can some one think of any other way to fix up this misshap?

    Cheers

    Sparks

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but it's replacement as ya cant fix it. Reclaim the refrigerant if it hasn't leaked out through the crack, remove and replace + new drier, vac out and recharge.

Its just cracked off the little flange that the circlip sits around to hold the pully on.
