All D1s & D2s have the same jack but they are prone to leaking/failure. There is a rebuild thread on here - check in the Good Oil section.
The jack in my D2a has crapped itself.
I rang the landy wreckers to get a new one but they said they didn't have one for a 2a.
Will a jack from another model fit in the jack position near the battery?

Thanks
I read the rebuild thread & it looks like fun,but I'm time poor so buying a replacement is the way to go.
Edit: I've sourced one so thanks for the replies![]()

The jack in my D2 leaked so I topped it up with jack oil (from Repco) and now carry it upright in a rear bin. No further problems.
