Disable 97 Discovery 300tdi Immobiliser
Hi
Does any one know a way to disable the immobiliser on a 300tdi 97 discovery. The issue has come about as the Key fob has been broken and unless we want to reset the system each time we lock the car a work around needs to be found. Have looked into a new fob but is a tad pricey. So any help would be appreciated
THanks
Josh

Have a look here. Some links at the bottom of the page that refer to bypassing.

O had similar with a RRC I had, I took it to a car alarm place and they by-passed it, still leaving it active but installed a immobilizer with ceb=ntral locking.
That way I still had the locking and immobilizer function.
Worked a treat, they left the old system in because if you try and take it out, I believe it messes with the electrics some how and also was cheaper.
