I guess you are talking the heater loop. The one to the outside of the pump pushes and the one in the middle sucks. The heater is the cold start bypass circuit with no valve on a RRC.Is both the out lets (on pump) flow lines? Both Pumping? OR returns?
The main problem with at least Stromberg inlets is that they are the highest part of the engine and get airlocks. On an RRC there is a bleed at the very top of the manifold back to the RH side tank of the radiator.
Yes it should flow OK as you have it. the early 3.5 had the heater outlet at the back of the manifold. But also put a bleed to the Radiator.
