FRC8220 was never going to fit, it's for a "Rover" type diff. On the plus side, it should be the right seal for your front diff pinion![]()
Thanks Rick, I'm just glad I might have finally got something right today(It's been one of those days.....)
you guys have all been very helpfull, both with the nut and the seal.
(altho i think i might have come up with the idea about breaking the nut against the chassis first - but thanks for confirming it's ok to do)
i'm gonna have to wait til monday to get karcraft to express bag me a new seal. glad i've got a Tercel as backup vehicle.![]()
