Hello....is there anybody there?
Someone must have had a go at this.
The rubber boot that protects the front ACE actuator shaft from dirt has become perished and needs to be replaced. It would seem that a special LR tool is required to undo the nut on the end of the shaft.
Is there a way around this using normal tools, or is it a trip to the stealers.
Cheers,
Alan

O.K. had a look my boot is ok as well but there is only one safe way of doing this, buy a tube socket from any auto shop and weld a bar to the side of it this will allow you to make up another tool that will fit down the centre of the socket with a slot cut out to fit on the end of the shaft to stop it turning and undo the nut.
Do you have rave it shows a picture of what you need to make
tried to transfer the pic to here from my computer, probably could Email you the pic of what is needed
