    TD5 fuel reg and Housing leaking, 03/04 disco auto

    Has any one been able to backyard repair these, 'cause they want to replace the whole Unit/housing

    Yep they need replacing, search for a cheap one from a specialist not a dealer (ie) Rovacraft and such.

    Ta Redback, is there a time frame that these then last for once replaced, or am i up for one every 20000km?

    More like every 90k kms, I'm on my 3rd one and have done 265k kms. Tried everything to do a home bodge job fix but there is no way, better off just to replace it. You can get them ex UK for about 200 delivered.

    Search is your friend - I think Blacknight did a write up on how you can fix em for 10$ worth of orings or something

    Often just the o'rings but if the diaphragm is damaged then no good.
