    Diff repair in Sydney

    I need to get the front diff tightened / repaired.

    Recommendations?? based in Sydney.

    you wont be able to. its the hemisphere that will be flogged out. the whole in the cast iron hemisphere, the one that the cross pin goes through becomes oval..thats where the slop in the rover diff's comes from.
    the only way to tighten up the front and rear diff is to install an LSD or locker.

    I'd have a chat to Bundalene on here if the hemisphere is worn. He will probably have good 2nd hand entire diff assemblies to swap into your axle housing.

    ive got the OE one from my 90, its got 20 000k's on it, its already oval

    What LSD options are there?

    I read the ARB lockers were near $1500...

    The only ones that I know of are the Tru-trac and the Quaife.
