    Diff torque settings needed

    Hello all.
Have tried the search function but have had no joy.I will most likely be told that there is a file or some thing that I should have known about. What I`m after is torque settings for the diff pinion nut and the bolts that hold the carrier bearing caps on.

90 nm for the carrier bearings and 130 NM for the Pinion nut . but thats final torque after you have set the pinion height and the backlash . You are setting the Pinion height and rotating torque first arent you ? Well thats for a RRC diff
Try searching any of the RAVE CD's or a workshop manual . but most of all if you dont know what you doing then find somebody that does !!!!

Yep know about setting the pinion height and the rotating torque, also the back lash, checking the crown wheel run out etc and bluing the teeth to check the final contact pattern to see if the pinion height is correct with the right back lash.Have had to set up a few diff`s .Is my first rangie diff though.
