Battery issues...
Hello all,
Just got back from up north to find that the defender (2000 TD5) won't start. It hasn't been driven for 7 weeks. When i went to start it up... nothing... none of the dash lights even came on. Got a mate to give me a jump start and this at least got the warning lights on and managed to crank, but she still didn't start up. Had the battery on the charger last night and it doesn't want to hold a charge.
I'm assuming my battery is knackered. But my question is should my bus still be able to run normally after a jump start even with a knackered battery or has something else gone pear shaped?
It was all running fine before i went away!!
Thanks in advance

Sounds like the cold weather has taken its toll.
A cell probably dropped.
