dont forget to keep an eye on the oil both its condition and level...

the blotting paper test will help resolve if you have diesel in the oil its not perfect but it might just give you enough warning.

    easy...

take a length of plywood staple a piece of white blotting card to it or a piece of matt finish photocopy paper

stand the board up at about an 80 degree angle then drip a drop of oil onto the paper.

as it runs down the paper it will seperate out

as a comparison on the same piece of paper drop a drop of your original engine oil from the bottle and a drop of diesel from whats in your tank.

compare the spread across the page that occurs from capillary action the diesel should spread the most and the oil the least.

as a bonus as the oil runs down the page the suspended particles will sperate out of the oil and adhere to the page as the drop of oil gets smaller. Lighter particles will come out nearer the top and the heavier ones at the bottom, inspect the oil trail with a good magnifying glass or jewelers loupe under strong natural or white lights

An update to this problem; it seems Trackers advice was spot on, although I got distracted with other things and didn't look at the injector seals until after a phone conversation with Justin Cooper. Number 3 injector seal was leaking. Sorry for not taking yor advice earlier Tracker.

    Cheers, Mick.
