    diff lock id and help

Today I went over a friend place and fitted a second hand front diff out of a
1990 v8 landy to the 300 TDI rear and converted to a full UJ propshaft. imagine my delight that the one I removed form the V8 had a diff locker fitted (bonus). The diff locker plug was blanked off and there was no sign of airlines or other pumps in the wreck.
Problem, I cant id the type of locker its definetly not an ARB and i have just spent an hour searching pictures on the web with no luck.

Description as follows < Brass fitting to the top of the diff, with internal brass Line running to the locker a hexagon type actuator in the diff and no other identifiable marks.

No i dont have pictures as i had to drive the car home and i'm phone photo illiterate.

To test the locker i wish to put some air to it and see what happens, anyone know the operating pressure of the average diff lock. Or how to tell if its vaccum operated.

They are arguably the best locker design (also IMHO).

Should work with anywhere between 50 and 100 psi.

    further advice please

Ok Diff lock has been identified need some advice on what compressor or how to set it up. I do not envisage that the locker will be used often, so 90% of the time it will be idle. the compressor will be a bounus if it can be used for tyres ect, Even consider a second hand set up.(hint hint)
