				I inspected a Defender today that has a Disco auto gearbox and transfer case.  The transfer case was installed first, and the gearbox some time later.
I found the gearing to be a bit high.  It was a bit too sluggish from take-off, but revved nice and low at 100kph.  I'm thinking a Defender transfer case would be better for me and my type of driving.
Anyone know how much it would cost to supply and fit a good Defender transfer case, or whether some tweaking will fix the slow take-off with the current Disco transfer case?
