Seems it's the 64bit Windows that it baulks at, apparently has to be installed in a virtual machine - couldn't be bothered with that.
I installed it on the small netbook that goes away with us, together with the Rave stuff. (still running under win7 - 32bit)
Runasdate works a treat.

Having never touched a Mac before, I would hazard a guess that the RAVE would still work.
It is a pdf document type program that runs on acrobat version 4.
I suppose even Mac's can read pdf's.
Just thinking out loud here, but please feel welcome to shoot me down.
I might learn something.

A normal version of Acrobat won't open RAVE PDF files.
It needs some plug-ins which aren't available from the Adobe site.

Reviving an old thread, but..
I'm going away on a trip soon and I was trying to upload the contents on my RAVE CD onto my Nexus 7 tablet so I can access the workshop manual if needed. It seems the PDF files are encripted so they wont open in Adobe etc. Has anyone found a way around this?
If not, I may have to take my laptop so I can access the CD if required.
Cheers,
I have a Mac and have downloaded the Manual in PDF from land rover service factory manual RAVE download land rover resource, service manual, workshop factory manual, download, rave, vehicles including discovery, series, defender, range rover, freelander, LR3, Handbooks, Catalog, Catalogue, Land Rover Inte
Once downloaded, I put it onto the iPad into iBooks via dropbox.
If I can download it onto a Mac and have it work, any one can.
