Thread: county fan cable??

Hello punters,
Just in the middle of converting my county to airvents. Does anyone know what the cable does/attach to that is part of the fan switch (lefthand side of the steering wheel). All i know for certain is that the floor/demister cable on the right hand side attaches to the rod that operates the floor vents.

I think I know what you are referring to - on the non-aircon County, the lever to the left of the instruments includes the heater fan switch, but also operates a cable which in turn operates the shutter in the heater that controls or completely shuts off the air flow.
