Mine arrived today. I'm very impressed with the overall quality and value for money. Good feeling supporting a local Aussie firm.
Well I always planned fitting it in there but just by removing the tray and using double sided tape. Then I noticed it was the perfect size to go right in the tray

As a site sponsor we have been supplying this same product with a low coolant alarm integrated with it for 2 years now at great discount.
If someone had actually approached us we would have been able to apply an even better than normal discount for a bulk purchase.
Life as a site sponsor can be disapointing at times.

Davy, dont get sooky on us.
You had plenty of opportunity to post an offer of discount in this thread, but you didn't.

i have to say, being in retail for 20 years, i have to agree with Davy on this, really sucks when your own supplier undercuts you out of the market.
nothing against you guys for getting a good deal, just be nice if suppliers had the same sense of loyalty that customers expect out of a retailer
I didn't get any pics of the sensor install as all I did was a quick fit due to the rain. I plan on moving it but not sure where to yet.
I drove to Dalby and back as well as some around town stuff this week and it never got over 80 deg but was usually around 75 deg. With a 88 deg thermostat I would have thought it would be higher so not the best spot most likely.

						Hi Rosscoe,
I had not wanted to get into a public discussion about this but can't let your comment go unanswered since you are attacking the supplier. While coming from Davy that could just be seen as sour grapes if that is the perception of other forum members then I will answer. I organised this bulk buy with Hangover. If I hadn't stepped in then the deal would have very likely gone to a supplier out of the USA rather than a local one. The product that Davy has always offered to AULRO is not the same as what was offered in this bulk buy, the product he sells adds an extra option to the suppliers product to create what he sees as a value add and the price is considerably higher to reflect that. He does not have any exclusive deal with the supplier and does not have any exclusive deal with AULRO. If you read his posts in the verandah section he also sells a product that comes from somewhere else that could be considered to be in direct competition with this one. Perhaps you would like to discuss loyalty at that level? He also already competes against the supplier in the open market all the time as the product is available directly from the supplier on the internet.
Hope that clears up what seems to be some misunderstanding.
