    265 70 r16 Baja MTZ

I was wanting to put a set of Mickey Thompson baja MTZ 265 70 r16 on my RR 93. Just wondering what peoples thoughts are with this tyre.

Also, my current 245's fit nicely so I think the 265 should scrape in alright. It's lifted a bit but I know I might have to curl the lip up on the guards a bit.

    cheers

I'm running a set of 265/75 R16 Mickey MTZ's, albeit on a Defy - not your vehicle. Love 'em. Good on road too, and good wear. Bit noisy, but hey - they're muddies.

I'll be fitting 5 more when these are shot, which on current indications will be at about 80 - 90 thousand km.

Yeah - I drive like an old man, but.
Prefer the stock 235/85 R 16s in the sand personally, but they're OK.

Good to hear you like these, I am considering putting them on Defender. When you say noisy, how noisy? Annoying or simply noticeable?

And you say they are good on road. I likewise drive a bit like a nana on the road, but it a damn truck after all, lots of mass to pull up but with it mostly down low, but the thing will sit on the speed limits all day, every day, just not a traffic light racer. If I want a blat I borrow the wife WRX.

How do you find it in the wet on the road?
