    Question Engine Enamel Colour

Hi, can someone please tell me what the correct paint colour for a series engine is and any ideas where I may get it.
    Cheers Mick.

    Here is the colour:

I was lucky, the bloke who rebuilt the motor had some laying around at the time.

    Thumbs up

    Thankyou,
I knew someone would be able to throw some light on the problem.
Two days ago I had a motor that looked like that one...but now its been in an acid bath to clean the water jackets etc out, hence the need for paint.

    Cheers, Mick.

I repainted mine a Holden colour, Marina Blue, which is very close to the original. Of course, these days I'd go looking for Duck Egg Blue.

P.S. Series Three - that is a lovely engine. How often do you clean it??

    wait, they have paint...

I always thought it was oil leak black with road dust brown/red depending on location.

    Cheers Johnno,

Those photos are just after the rebuild, hence the cleanliness. The car doesn't do a whole heap of kms at the moment so its fairly easy to keep clean.
