Thread: Tail Lights Dim

Parking lights and brake lights on my 90 RRC have gone dim (like me with age). New lens on one side, new globes and clean up of bulb holders and contacts make no difference. Voltage is good. Does anyone know where the earth wires go to ground?

Whats "good" voltage?? Test with engine off and engine on.
For the earth, you may just have to follow it back from the harness but i think it actually earths thru the lamp body... Been ages since i have had mine out.

I would maybe try bypassing from the globe socket to a known good earth and see if that brightens things up. If you have a bad earth, this will show it up.
