    cost of new box and all bit From Dave Ashcroft

    Hi,

    ZF 4HP24EH, new crated with converter and XY switch £ 1450
    compushift and display £ 795,

    freight approx £ 300

    Thats bloody good given what a second hand box costs here!!

    Any idea as to what sort of power or should that be torque this combination will handle? I would like to chip my TD5 but apparently i can't go to wild as the gearbox will shutdown!

    has anyone converted a 5 speed?
    The V8 could really do with a ratio of around .9 before that overdrive gear.

    Manuel did the ZF in my 928 Porsche. They are the Ducks Nuts when it comes to ZF's. They use mainly kits imported from the states.
