Thread: Disco 3 Row 2 centre seat seat belt inertia reel jammed

Does anyone know how to release a jammed seat belt inertia reel on centre seat row 2 in a disco 3. Mine has jammed in the fully retracted position with the seat back down and it cannot be raised as the seat belt is restricting any movement of the seat back. Hoping someone knows a fix. Cheers

Not familiar with the arrangement in a D3, but in a RRC the old in-seat inertia mechanisms have a little dongle inside that makes them lock when they the housing is abnormally oriented. They are quite sensitive to orientation.

If you can, unbolt one end of the belt or the other to get the seat upright and / or orientation of the inertia mechanism right and it should release.
