    Lifting a 110 county

    Hello all
I currentlt have approximately 2" lift in my 4bd1t 110 but I was wondering 1.what size lift kits can be purchased for a 110? 2.where from? (probably have to special order due to wait of isuzu) ! Lets say I wanted to put between a 4 and 6 inch lift in (like you see in alot of patrols) what things have to be done to make it drivable ? Some say just correction bushes others say whole radius arms etc etc but if so where can correction radius arms for a landrover be purchased ?
Any photos of suspension , flex or intetesting setups would be good wether or not it belongs to yourself or not

I'll sell you my 2" lift, that'll get you 4 inches total

When I can afford it, i'm going back to standard.

My County has Dobinson springs and they are very very stiff, the only time I have had a decent ride in the vehicle is when I had a few hundred kg of firewood in it. That happening is rare. Compared to friend's Defenders it just isn't ideal. I'm also having problems with propshaft unis giving out and the suspension bushes wearing quickly. I haven't had kinked trailing arms fitted-the previous owner did the spring lift.
As far as I can tell, the lift is only to allow 33" tyres to fit adequately, and they rub on full tuck anyway as they are 10.5 inches wide.
If I go to standard 7.50R16 tyres, (already have some) I lose an inch diff clearence at most, but the tyres are narrower and will tuck under the guards better(and spray less mud through the window ). Wear and tear will be reduced throughout the drivetrain. Revs will be a little higher for the same speed, oh well. Low first will go from mind numbing slow to continental drift (won't notice the difference I expect)
A new Boge unit plus original spec springs comes to ~500 pounds sterling and will give me the lovely soft 180lb County rear springs. If in the future I start load carrying/towing, then polyairs can assist the Boge leveller.

I think i'll get better flex with standard springs than what I have anyway.

What is the reason for you wanting a 4-6''lift?
Personly i wouldn't go anymore than 3''s in a defer/county wagon, it will get realllllll tippy with that sort of lift
you can fit 35s no dramers at all with a 2'' lift, no real need to go any higher IMO
Dad is running a dobinsin 2'' lift in his county, Shane at suspension stuff has a 2'' set to suit an isuzu county, just let him know what engine you have and if you have any bars and or a winch mension that to him and he will set you up with the kit your after
Couldn't be happyer with the set up in the county at the moment!!!

    CHEERS TIM.
