Since you havnt told us which vehicle you have, I am making an assumption based on you having a nanocom that it is a D2 ???
You will need your Nanocom hooked up through your laptop for this.
You will need to navigate to the screen for the Body Control Unit setup.
It is then simply a case of telling the BCU which features are to be activated and which ones are not fitted. ETC.
IE Diesel or petrol. Coil springs or Air suspension. Country of delivery. Auto or manual. there wil be options for alarms and Central locking, lights, sunroofs......etc etc.
It will give you the options , you tell it which you have. Then save the info to the BCU and save the file to your laptop for future reference if you wish.
You will not be able to do this from the Nanocom stand alone.
I recall your Speedo will have a disparity between what the Odometer says and what the BCU remembers from the donor vehicle. Your odometer will default to the highest recorded kms from either the BCU or the Speedo.
You may also have to go to the "learn security code" option to ensure the new BCU communicates correctly with the Engine ECU.
cheers
