air noise ? coming from fuel system
I had to replace the fuel return lines from 1987 RCC as they were perished and leaking.
I got it all sorted and fixed the power to the fuel pump problem.
The RRC now will start for a very short time and then stop ie 2 revolutions.
It seems that it runs out of fuel.
I can hear fuel running back into the tank and what sound like an air sucking noise in the engine bay some were.
Can any one suggest what it might be it all looks tight etc.
Thanks

First thing to do is Tee in a Fuel pressure guage at the Cold start injector and check your rail pressures .Just turn the Key to on and move the flapper gate , that should kick in the fuel pump , and you should see at least 28PSI at the rail .And hold the pressure with no drop for at least 10 minutes . Many threads on the tuneup/troubleshooting here as well as workshop/rave manual. Did it run properly before you "Rewired" the fuel Pump ?

I will need to look into a fuel pressure gauge, dont own one.
It did run well except the fuel pump never turned off and still never turns off.
I will give the old search a run for its money and see what i can find thanks
