Thread: Air suspension compressor

MY 06 TDV 6 SE 82K no off road work and the rotten thing has died BL on the GC tell me it 1200 bucks !!! Any one else had a problem with this . Spoke to LRA and they told me to whistle.

Any suggestions , and l am not a good whistler

it can be replaced with a $99 compressor from supercheap but dont expect it to last long and you will need to hit up a hyds type shop to get the fittings to adapt it.

while you're modding the system you could look at fitting emergancy inflation fittings that will allow you to tap directly to the tank and fill from any compressor that can deliver 100 PSI (you wont get full height with that but it will get you home)

Once you get it to the height you need you pull the relay and assuming that the bags or valves arent leaking it will get you home.
