Mate there were no real troubles installing at all, just time, once I understood the back lash it was really easy, I just held the pinion flange and moved the crown wheel back and forward till there was the .004" movement before contact between the gears. I didn't check before I took it apart which maybe I should have, but there is no noise what so ever, very happy and oh. oh oh max traction now with no horrible noises when one wheel slips and then gains traction, that kind of noise where you think something is going to break.
