Pressed metal plugs ( like a welch plug) where to get?

I'm looking for pressed tin plugs of approx 10mm diameter and approx 5mm deep. Sort of like a welch plug or the plugs you see on oil pump pressure relief valve ends. I tried googling, but with out knowing the techical name for them it's a bit more difficult.
    any idea where to source?
    thanks

I know the plug you're referring to but unsure as to where to get them i that size. Is it an option to thread and plug with a grub screw? There are also plus called "koenig" plugs which push in and have a ball punched into the centre to expand it.

They are called Welch/Welsh plugs, you should be able to buy them from parts suppliers, Repco and the like, they are knocked in with a socket that fits snugly inside the cup and it is advisable to use a sealant like Stag, Regards Frank.

Other names that they go by are:- Expansion plugs and Frost plugs, depending where you come from.

I'd be suprised if Repco and the like had them in such a small size.

I know the one's you mean they are pressed in and often you see 3 or 4 marks around the outer edge where it's punched to lock against the housing material. Unfortunately I don't know of a low pressure press in alternative, apart from the koenig plugs I mentioned. They are used in hydraulic manifolds to seal cross drillings.

Have you tried? BTW most Welch plug sets have 2 or 3 that size included for the oil galleries, Regards Frank.
