The 200tdi I have has a leak from the IP o ring between the steel HP head and the alloy body. Seems to be a common problem. Nothing I could find on Landy sites but VW have lots. They seem to use the same pump and buy Oring kits for $20 instead of paying $900 for the diesel shop to fix it.
One thread I read replaces this O ring on the bench then another fixes it still attached to the engine.
My problem is in buying the seal kit. The VW suppliers dont know if it is the same as the LR pump.
Has anyone been through this before?
Can Bosch seal kits be bought in Australia?
