    noisy injection pump on 300 tdi

    hi all,

    I have a 96 defender with a 300 tdi, the injection pump seems to be making a louder than normal ticking noise, has anyone noticed this before and know whats in store,

    Most likely starving for fuel, the lift pump, if failed, will cause the injector pump to make some interesting noises.
