    300tdi teiking fuel pump

    did a power up grade on our 98 mod 300tdi 110 bigger intercooler
    better radiator our mechanic in cairns turned up the fuel on the injector pump it does not seem to blow any smoke except under heavey throttle
    or when towing .
    fitted a pyro meter to manifold pipe temps stay much same 80ks and over
    except under harsh excelleration but around town stop and go can rised up to 5deg does anyone know if this is acceptable

    500DegC DOWNSTREAM of the turbo is getting up towards max allowable, (You can loose up to 200DegreesC across the turbine) but if you had fitted the pyro probe in the EGR plate UPSTREAM of the turbo, then it is quite low, in which case 720 will be a good max point.

    thanks justin for your help was wondering do i just remove the blanking plate
    and get the sender connector welded to it ?
