    what does it weigh?

    can anyone tell me what a 60/40 splitfold seat from a classic RR would weigh?

    I have just purchased a 2nd hand unit & need to ship from Brisbane to Sydney, therefore need to know the weight.

    Don't know the exact weight, but the entire back seat out of a RRC is bloody heavy. If I had to guess, I would say the best part of 50 odd Kg, maybe even more... I didn't walk straight for a day after pulling that out the car on my own

    Just so happen to have my 88 RRC hi-line split rear seats out
    single 16kgs and twin went 24 Kgs so say 40Kg all (well accordind to my kitchen scales anyway) The later split ones have Plastic backs so they are shiyload lighter than the old 2 door 1 piece seat .

    I also have been told 37kg - so I concur with you both :-

    - 60/40 Split fold = 37kg Approx = bloody heavy !
