Hi twr7cx and def9087, can I suggest you try these battery clamps.

I sell these but you should be able to find them locally.

These are about the simples type of battery clamp but they are also one of the most versatile.

You can take the wing nut off, then remove the bolt from the underside of the clamp and then any cables that will be permanently connected to the battery, fit to the bolt.

The bolt can then be secured back in place and the top of the bolt can be used to fit and change other cables without the need to interfere with the main cables.

They're actually what I wanted, but I couldn't be arsed going to the shops, so used what I had for the moment. I do intend to change sometime.

    Welcome to the forum.

That is the tray for the SLS compressor. It can be used as battery tray if you don't have SLS fitted, but you are limited in what batteries can be fitted due to proximity to the floor. If you do a search of the forum you'll there are a number of different options for installing a second battery. The SLS tray is probably the least used because there is potential for damage unless you fabricate a protective box.

PS. ALL CAPS is considered to be SHOUTING, and is extremely difficult to read. Please use normal sentence capitalisation when posting in future.

    cheers
    Paul
