yep, because of the way the force is transmitted.

the overall force is the same, the rubber bushes handle it in a much softer manner providing lower transmission rates of the forces. sort of like jumping off of the second floor of a building and landing on a single matress as opposed to landing on a properly designed decellertion airbag.
Ok so the rubber bushes dont last as long as the poly ones, exposing them to any number of things will kill them even quicker. But you dont wear out your suspension mounting points.
