    Discovery 1 - Information Required

    Is the bell housing bolts on a 200tdi the same as on a 3.9 litre V8 and are the engine mounts the same on both. As i am looking at swapping the 3.9 litre V8 in a '99 with a 200tdi from a '93. Couldn't find anything useful in the manuals or on AULRO site The V8 is an auto and the 200tdi is a manual

    The bell housing bolts are completely different in their position & size . Also the engine mounts are completely different too & so are the brackets on the chassis
