D1 TPS ADJUSTMENT
I have adjusted my maf and tps today my maf voltage was only .07 volts returned this to 1.3 volts today one problem i have now is the tps adjustment at iddle its at 4.8 volts and at full throttle its at .34 but for some reason i cant get it to be low voltage at idle its like somthing is in reverse and after adjustment i also am getting a slight popping in muffler at low idle hope some one can help cheers oh its a 1998 v8 disco 1 180000kms

I think you are measuring the wrong thing. That looks like resistance which can be measured with ign off.
It is impossible for these number to be voltage as the TPS is just a rheostat ie a variable resistor. 5volts go in and a fraction of 5volts comes out depending on the resistance. More open =more volts.

hey philip a I used your tutorial on pdf to do it today my maf was way out only reading .o7v fixed that but with my tps it is 4.8v at idle just ignition on and reads to 0 at full throttle my tps connector is different to the one used in the tutorial so i could be doing it wrong different wiring i belive i have a square connector not a round one Thanks for that tutorial too it was really handy

Well they must have changed the wire codes on the last 14CUX.
You should have 3 wires AFAIR.
One is earth , one is 5Volts in and one is the signal wire.
Just get your voltmeter and find the 5Volt in wire with the ign on.It will naturally read 5volts when you ground the -of the multimeter onto the engine
One of the other wires will show a variable voltage , which should be low at idle. The other wire should show nil.
I just had a thought that you may have bridged the 5volt and signal and measured the difference between the two sides of the TPS. This would be large at idle and low at full throttle. You want signal to earth.
I wouldn't worry too much as the car wouldn't run if the TPS was as you say.

Thanks for your help and tutorial an this subject i used the middle green wire for + side of metre and used an earth for the other worked fine was a bit out spec .034v adjusted it .35 now with the timming maf and tps adjusted hopefully i might even get better fuel economy and also it feels much smother to drive and the engine feels more perky
