Hi Jim,

You have not provided any detail on the measurements you currently have, and what you are after, or can actually fit. Are you trying to shorten a 50mm tube lug, or a solid 50mm lug. The tube lugs are risky to shorten by comparison to the solid steel lugs. A better option is to buy a new suitable lug.

Hayman Reese make a large assortment of different lugs. Unfortunately they don't seem to have the drawings for these on their website. If you can locate your nearest HR agent, they should have drawings including measurements of all available lugs. I would be surprised if you cannot find something suitable out of the available lugs.
