How to Remove Rocker Arm - TD5?

I was about to remove injectors, and change seals, my oil level is rising.
Im confident in removing injectors etc....but Im looking at Rocker Arm assembly and getting uneasy. I am in the driveway at home, no specialist tools (just socket/spanners). Is there a "cheats" way to remove it without completely upsetting bump clearance, timing etc.?

EDIT: OK, I cheated...and Im stuck. I havnt removed the fan assy, I didnt go to TDC, didnt lock it tthere with a specialist tool. I just removed the rocker arm assy. Now, I have the front three injectors out, but the rear two are being interfered with by the cam lobes. .....HELP.....

    I dont think there is...

When i changed the injectors seals in my last defender I rememeber removing the rocker arm and having to reset the clearance etc..

I think you bottom out the spring on the injector then turn back half a turn then do up the lock nut

It should be in rave cd

Just did mine today as well. Did you loosen all of the adjusters on the rockers?

It's not hard readjusting once you reinstall but you will need to remove the viscous fan so you can hand crack the motor.

A 1/2inch ring spanner and screw driver did the trick

When you reinstall the rocker make sure all the rockers are seated correctly on the injectors.

You did record all the injector numbers and location yeh?

You will need a torque wrench for re-installation

If you need some tools or hand give me a pm. You never know I maybe close by.
