    Question Engine painting

I am about to reassemble my series 4 cyl engine and will be repainting it after its been dipped etc.
Any ideas on whats the best way to go about painting it?
    Before assembly or after?
    What do most people do?

    Cheers, Mick

I did mine when it was stripped and then scraped any over-brush off with an old hacksaw blade.

I suppose it depends on how nice you want it to look,
