    Boiling Battery

    YET ANOTHER BATTERY CHARGING THREAD

I got my new 25amp CTek charger during the week.Given the D2 an initial charge, now its on the camper trailer.
Camper trailer has 2x 165AH truck batteries. One of the batteries is bubbling and hot.Is it stuffed???? Is it likely to come good with the CTek???
Have isolated that battery for the time being.
    THANKS
    Andrew

Hi Andrew, with the batteries separated, put a load on the battery that was boiling and measure the voltage.

If the voltage is up round 12v just let it cool and charge again.

If the voltage is 11v or less, it’s probably stuffed.
