Arggggghhhhh! You're right of course! Total confusion on my part. Sorry.
The Doxford was the one I was thinking of, and in any case, opposed piston engines are certainly not new, and there have been some fascinating manifestations of them, like the Napier Deltic, for instance, used extensively for locomotives and marine engines in the UK; '50's onward.
They were very powerful for their size, but were heavy on maintenance requirement, so ultimately were replaced by more conventional diesels.
