Removed factory stereo, install iPad mini as car stereo. Absolutely awesome, music, satnav, off roadmapping, works a treat.
Open shot. Sorry guys it won't let me upload multiple pictures.

Thanks prover. Re the iPad setup, it was hard to work out how to do it, but easy to apply. Ok so you are going to need a device called I streamer. It is what's called a DAC (digital analog converter) it gets hardwired behind the dash. The iPad connects to the istream. Then the istream runs into an amplifier. It's that simple.
As for fixing the iPad to the dash, again very simple. Draemel out to channels on either side and slide right in.

How did you fix the rear roof shelf?
Got my roof rack permanently fitted for the dry season. It's not quite completely finished but all the work I needed to do off the vehicle is done.
The front quarter of the tent fits on the factory roof bars and the rear 3/4 of the tent fit on my custom made rack. I have matched the height of my rack so everthing sits level with the factory bars.
The front of the tent is currently bolted to the factory bars but I just need to finish of the gutter brackets on the rear. As my custom rack is bolted permanently to the tent, it's all one peice and it's pretty solid just being bolted at the front and I'm not worried about for driving around town like it is.
The carboard is just on the ground becasue I was under there replacing the gearbox mounts, bump stop and I still have the rotorflex to go. The Cardboard isn't there for all the leaks as a mate thought it was.
Happy Days.
Clubagreenie... It was originally a seven seater, I removed the grab handles and use those boltholes.
