Dimwit me worked out he installed his cargo barrier sdrawkcab

It'll do for the time being.
Also swapped the second cranking battery for a deep cycle, wired up a circuit breaker and low voltage cut out gizmo so I can put a (borrowed) Engel in tomorrow. The Waeco branded gizmo had leads almost half the cross section to those of the engel, despite the wacko's Danfoss compressor reportedly drawing more current than the Engel's swing motor. As it is the gizmo is only rated at 5 amps, and many websites report wackos running at up to 6 or 7 amps instantaneous current. So small wire gauge means higher voltage drop. Less voltage means more current needed. Higher current means more heat in the voltage cut out thingo meaning more voltage drop...
Seems badly thought out to me!

    Last two days actually.

    Put lipstick on a pig

Clay blocked the SVX, then full Meguirs Concours paint prep and polish.

Fine cleaner/swirl remover, showcar glaze, and yellow wax.

All my "bush/brush" scuffs and scratches gone. (Well not really, just got to look real hard at the right angles to see 'em)

The metalic black looks half a dozen feet deep - For a little while anyway.

I once polished a car a lot smaller than a defender.. covered it in wax and then almost expired trying to buff it all off by hand! I wont be doing that again.

Hang on, I thought polishing a defender was illegal!?

Btw what does SVX stand for?

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

..............and today I did the rear wheel bearings.

Solihul makes sure the bolts stay in at build. The amount of locktite, ratchet (and hard yakka) all the way out for both the hubs and the brakes OK for those with pneumatic tools!
