Discovery 1 seat backs - some advice needed.
I need to replace the grab handle/head restraint on afront seat in No.1 son's 96 D1 becauser his new staffie ate a piece out of it.
I have a recollection of this bit being inserted into the seat frame.
I can remove the complete seat back, but what next? How is the grab handle/head restraint fixed into the seat frame? Do I need anything special to get it apart? Hidden clips?
Any tips would be appreciated before I tackle it.
TIA

Thanks for all the input...

For those who need to do it, it's not too hard.. The outer sides of the assembly slide into plastic ferrules, and the centre of the grab handle is retained in two slide tubes with plastic tabs into grooves in the headrest supports.
Gently lever the seat fabric over the plastic rings at the top of the slide tubes. You can then move the fabric and seat cushion far enough out of the way to see the tabs which retain the two headrest supports.
Use a small screwdriver to lever the tabs aside while maintaining an upward pressure on the side grab rails. Don't break them off! Before putting the replacement into place, gently lever the fabric to cover the plastic slide tube top. Slide the seat top back into place, making sure that the tabs lock the supports in place.
Cheers
