ARB compressor pressure too high?
Recently relocated my f/r lockers from my old D2 to the D2a. All works fine but when pumping up tyres for the first time after the relocation...BANG, blew a hole in the air hose to the external outlet!
Cut the hose, put a joiner in with a couple a good quality clamps..... this time it blew the hose off (and the clamps were TIGHT).
Could it be that there is a fault with the pressure switch (never had a prob with it fitted to the old car)?
How can I test the pressure in the line?

Since you've got a fitting that the tyre inflator goes into you just need to get a gauge (standard compressor gauge from Supercheap etc) and a fitting that the gauge will screw into thats the same as your tyre inflater one.
Plug the gauge into the outlet and read the pressure.
Some airhose does't handle heat well, so if you are taking it direct from the compressor with cheap hose that could be a problem.
Your compressor setup should have a safety relief valve in it somewhere like this:
Safety Valves - Viair
If there is a problem with the pressure switch then the relief valve will vent. If you haven't got one fitted then get one.
