My old 6/2002 D2 with just over 300,000k's started filling the sump with diesel, new O-rings and washers didn't work, so it's a cracked injection port in the head.

Given the age etc of the D2 it was going to sell it whole or scrap for parts. I only use it now for local work. I had no takers for the complete car at a reasonable price, and SWMBO said no car is going to be wrecked here. I started looking for a head, not cheap! then I ended up with a head for $700 off E-bay. when I went to Sydney to pick it up it was fully setup with reco injectors, new glow plugs and injector cable; and to top it off it was a AMC Head, and he threw in a new dash mat, some gaskets and a intake manifold

. The story was he had replaced the head , but had only gone just over 400k's from home and did a big end

, so he replaced it with a complete second hand engine.
I'm thinking the head won't need a skim ?
The photo's attached are the head as picked up, no work done to it. My D2 has a 2 hole gasket at present, should I keep to this or get a 3 hole gasket as most just use this one now ?
What would you do ?
