    Question Polishing Alloy

What is the best way/product to clean up and brighten up the alloy on a series motor, eg rocker cover etc?
Anyone have any secret formula's or methods they wish to disclose please?

    Cheers, Mick

I can't comment on how effective it would be on a series motor, but brasso polished the alloy on my motorbike frame fantastically.

Yep, Brasso's the best go. I polished the rocker cover on my 2.6 and it came up bright. The alternative would be to use a very fine grade steel wool like 000 grade or finer.
