    Theoretically it has the better head with only 1 fuel gallery internal in the head.
    If its only seals it wont cost that much the parts cost are minimal the labor by competent people shouldnt be that much.
    If the head is cracked in the galleries then its a new head and probably up to $7000.

    Sorry to say I just paid over $6000 myself that said I was quite happy to do it.

    How did you go with your head problem alien? What was the fault?

    All up and going now
    It looks like the timing chain adjuster was not freely moving causing the chain to stay to tight.
    The end result was a 2nd broken chain and 2 slightly bent valves(plus the rockers ect).
    The adjuster wasn't replaced the first time round as on back order and well, I forgot to chase it up
